1 GALLON BARBEQUE SAUCE 
5 c. sugar
1 pt. mustard

Mix sugar and mustard together. Then add: 1 1/2 qt. vinegar 1 c. water 1 1/2 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. black pepper 1 stick butter 1 tbsp. red pepper, if desired

Bring to a hard boil. Then simmer one hour. Add corn starch for extra thickness.
