BARBECUED RIBS 
4 lbs. pork spareribs (simmer cut ribs in water for about 1 hour before baking).

1 c. catsup
1 c. water
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of hot pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion

Cut ribs into 2 rib sections; arrange in a shallow roasting pan (after ribs have simmered until tender). Mix remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hours or until fork tender. Baste meat occasionally with sauce.
