APPLE CRANBERRY CRUNCH 
3 c. coarsely chopped cored unpeeled McIntosh apples, about 1 lb.
2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
3/4 c. granulated sugar

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. old fashioned oats
3/4 c. chopped pecans (3 oz.)
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all filling ingredients in a medium size bowl. Place the mixture in a 9 inch deep dish pie plate (ungreased).

To make topping: Mix oats, pecans, brown sugar and flour. Stir in butter until blended. Crumble over pie filling press down lightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until nicely browned.
