PICKLED MEAT LOAF 
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
5 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. vinegar
Dill pickles

Combine all ingredients except pickles. Put 1/2 of mixture into 9x5x3 inch pan. Top with pickles and cover with remaining mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

After cooking for 1/2 the time pour off any grease and add on top a mixture of 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1 teaspoon dry mustard. This is excellent on any meat loaf.
