1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. chopped nuts (I use 2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 box pie crust mix

On lightly floured surface roll pastry to 14 inch circle; place in 12 inch pizza pan, flute edges; prick crust. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 15 minutes.

Blend cream cheese and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into partially baked crust and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 10 minutes more; cool.

Spread cherry pie filling over cheese layer. Chill. Top chilled pie with dollops of Cool Whip. To serve cut in wedges.
