ITALIAN BEEF SANDWICH (IN
CROCKPOT)
 
3 to 4 lb. lean roast beef (chuck roast)
1 tbsp. oregano
Dash garlic salt
Salt to taste
5 bay leaves
5 tbsp. ReaLemon
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 to 3/4 c. water

Cook all ingredients together in all-day cooker (8 to 10 hours). About an hour before serving, remove meat and cool enough to handle. Remove all fat and bones and shred meat. Return to pot and cool in juice for 30 minutes. Serve on French bread or hard rolls. Makes 12 servings.
