CABBAGE ROLLS | |
3 lb. ground beef 2 med. onions, chopped 1/2 lb. sausage 1/2 c. rice Sweet peppers (optional) Sauerkraut 1 head cabbage 1 lb. bacon 1 can V-8 juice or tomato soup Cook the cabbage until tender but not coming to pieces. Cook the cabbage whole in boiling water. In another pan, combine hamburger, onion, rice, sweet peppers (optional), and spices. Optional. Make the cabbage rolls and roll them between cabbage rolls. Place them in the cooker in layers on each layer. Place bacon strips and sauerkraut. Continue like that and until mixture is gone and cooker is full. Pour V-8 juice on tomatoes over the cabbage rolls. Cook until done. |
