FRUIT SOUP 
1 lb. prunes
1 cinnamon stick
2 c. raisins
1 c. dried apricots
2 apples (opt.)

Put into a large kettle and cover with cold water; cook slowly 45 minutes, stirring often. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup minute tapioca and boil 10 minutes more. Fruit and berry juices may be used instead of the water. Add other cooked fruits and juice of 1/2 lemon, if desired.
