VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 or 2 lb. stew meat
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
1 c. sliced okra
1 med. onion
4 med. potatoes, diced
1 tbsp. salt and pepper
2 carrots, chopped

Cover meat and onion in 2 or more quarts of water. When meat is half done, add vegetables and simmer until tender.
