SNOWFLAKES COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 beaten egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add beaten egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in sifted flour. Add chopped pecans. Shape into balls, crescents, or circle flat. Use 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees 6 minutes, then reverse pans another 6 minutes or until slightly brown on bottom. Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar.
