JELLO DESSERT SALAD | |
2 sm. boxes Jello 1 sm. env. unflavored gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1 c. light cream 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Use different colors to correspond with season or decor. Prepare 1 box Jello for bottom layer and refrigerate. When set, prepare center layer. Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water. Heat almost to boiling the cream and sugar and combine with the gelatin. Add vanilla. Cream the cream cheese and add gelatin mixture. Add walnuts. Spread over Jello and refrigerate several hours to set. Prepare second box of Jello and pour over filling. Refrigerate. Double above to fill a 9x13 inch pan. Use slightly less than 2 cups of water for Jello. |
