NEW YORK CHEESECAKE | |
1 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese 16 oz. cream cheese 1 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. melted butter 1 pt. sour cream Blend ricotta or cottage cheese with cream cheese. Add sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla, lemon, flour, cornstarch and melted butter; mix well. Fold in sour cream; blend well. Butter 10" spring pan and place mixture in a cold oven. Set oven at 325 degrees. Bake 1 hour. Turn oven off. Leave cake in oven for 2 more hours. Do not open. Cool and serve. |
