MURIELLE'S OREO AND NUTTER BUTTER DEATH BALLS | |
1 pkg. Oreo or Nutter Butter cookies (store brand works great too) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature to soften 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet or white) Pulse Oreo cookies or Nutter Butters in food processor to make crumbs. In a mixing bowl or a mixer, beat cream cheese then add the cookie crumbs slowly. When all is well mixed, make small balls of about 3/4-inches. One package of each cookies and cream cheese will yield around 40 balls. Put them in the refrigerator or freezer to keep them firm. In microwave, melt chocolate chips. Dip each ball in chocolate, then place it on a wax paper. Melt a bit of chocolate chips or different flavor in a bowl (if you dipped them in brown, use white this time and vice versa). Once all the balls are harden (it only takes a couple of minutes), dip a spoon into the bowl of white chocolate and sprinkle a little color to the death balls. Keep them refrigerated and you can even freeze them to enjoy longer! Submitted by: Murielle Inman |
