3/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. butter
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 egg

Saute onion in melted butter. Set aside. Combine dry ingredients. Add whipping cream, egg and onions. Stir until moist. Knead 1 minute. Place on ungreased baking sheet in 8 inch circle. Score top. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
