LASAGNA LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. leaf basil
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Brown meat. Add onion, garlic, parsley, paste and seasonings. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes.

CHEESE FILLING:

1 c. cottage cheese
1 egg
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Combine all ingredients.

CRUST:

2 cans crescent rolls
2 (7x4 slices) Mozzarella cheese

Unroll dough onto cookie sheet.

Spread 1/2 meat and add cheese, then remaining meat. Top with cheese slices. Place excess dough over filling just around edges. Bake 375 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
