CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
1 cup peanut butter
6 teaspoons. butter softened
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 package of chocolate Candiquik

Soften 6 teaspoons of butter by placing in microwave (approximately 20 seconds). Mix 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups confectioners sugar, and the softened butter in a bowl until a nice texture is formed. Spoon out mixture and roll into balls, place on wax-paper. Let stand about 10 minutes (I cooled mine in the refrigerator during this time).

Melt chocolate Candiquik according to package directions and dip the peanut butter balls in the CANDIQUIK with a spoon. Set on wax paper to dry.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

For a great variation my mom's recipe calls for adding rice crispies cereal to the mixture. Then roll into balls, place in freezer for ten minutes until firm, then dip with a toothpick into the melted chocolate. Does't get any better!! This has been my sons & grandsons favorite!!
