POT ROAST OF BEEF 
Beef shoulder roast
1 sliced onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Prepared horseradish

Place roast in tightly covered pan. Add onion, salt and pepper. cover all with a layer of horseradish. Add a small amount of liquid to pan. Cover tightly and bake slowly (325 degrees) until tender. Add water if necessary during baking.
