MARCO POLO PEANUT COOKIES 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 c. Bran Flakes
3/4 c. Spanish peanuts

Blend flour, baking powder and salt. Cream sugars, shortening and egg. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in Bran Flakes and peanuts. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
