CHOCOLATE HALF MOON COOKIES 
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix all ingredients together in order given. Beat until smooth. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet, allowing 2-inches of space between cookies to allow for spreading.

Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for about 7 minutes. Cool and frost half of the flat side of each cookie with vanilla icing and half with chocolate icing.

Yield: 2 dozen.

WHITE FROSTING:

Combine 2 tablespoons butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 2 cups powdered sugar. Add milk and moisten.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

Same ingredients but add 2 tablespoons cocoa. Alternately, dip chocolate half in Baker's Dipping Chocolate or other tempered chocolate.
