PIZZELLE 
6 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. vanilla or anise

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. Add cooled melted butter and vanilla or anise. Sift flour and baking powder, add to egg mixture. Heat pizzelle waffle iron. Drop by teaspoon on hot iron 1/2 minute cooking time. Makes 60.
