3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

3/4 c. Crisco shortening
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
2 lbs. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

To prepare cookies: Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add shortening; mix well with fork. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Roll out thin and cut shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
