1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
2 c. whipping cream
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling

Prepare cake mix as directed. Prepare whipping cream; add sugar and vanilla to whipped cream. Assemble cake: Place 1 layer on cake plate, spread first layer with 3/4 cup whipped cream, top with half cherry mix. Put second layer on; spread sides of cake with whipping cream; spoon remaining cherry. Pour remaining cake batter over this and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
