THE PERFECT BISCUITS 
2 c. flour (plain)
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Crisco
3/4 c. milk

Measure dry ingredients into bowl and stir thoroughly to blend. Cut Crisco into flour mixture with pastry blender or fork until mix looks like meal. Add milk all at once. Mix with fork until all dry ingredients are mixed into a ball. Place dough on lightly floured cover surface.

Roll ball 3-4 times. Knead quickly and lightly 5-6 times. Roll or pat dough out to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in middle of oven 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees or until golden brown.
