SOUTHERN YOGURT BISCUITS | |
2 c. unbleached flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. plain yogurt 1/4 c. milk Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine dry ingredients and cut in the butter. Thin yogurt with milk and stir in. Turn out and knead 25 times. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with a 3 inch cutter and bake until light brown. Makes 15 biscuits. Here's my Sourdough Biscuit recipe that you can use some of the same "starter" in that you used for the Sourdough Hotcakes. |
