CHEESE CRISPIES 
2 sticks creamy butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 lb. sharp cheese
2 c. chopped pecans, optional
2 c. plain flour
Dash red pepper

Grate cheese fine. Cream butter and mix with cheese. Add red pepper and mix well. Add flour slowly. Fold in Rice Krispies and pecans. Roll into small balls the size of a marble. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 275 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
