MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. jar marshmallow creme

Frosting:

1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Mix butter, sugar, cocoa, eggs, and flour in that order. Beat until creamy and smooth; stir in nuts. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and leave cake in pan. Spread marshmallow creme on hot cake. Allow cake to cool completely before frosting.

Frosting:

Melt butter, add cocoa and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy. (May add more milk if needed.) Spread over cooled cake and sprinkle top with 1/2 cup nuts, if desired.
