2 sticks of butter
1 c. sugar (granulated)
1 c. powdered sugar
2/3 c. cooking oil
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. Vanilla
1 tbsp. Lemon Extract
2 eggs

Cream butter, sugars, oil and eggs. Mix well. Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar. Add to butter and sugar mixture. Mix well and add vanilla, and lemon extract. Place in refrigerator and chill until you can handle to roll into rolls. Take a piece of wax paper and roll up to make a long roll. You will have about 2 rolls. Place in refrigerator and chill again. Cut off cookies, sprinkle with sugar and bake in a 350°F oven for about 8 to 10 minutes.
