3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. maple flavoring
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs

Sift flour with soda 3 times. Cream butter with sugars, add maple flavoring and eggs, beat well.

Add flour mixture and nuts, mix well. Pack in butter boxes and refrigerate overnight or freeze. Slice thin, place on greased baking tin and bake at 350 degrees 10 to 15 minutes.
