WORLD'S BEST BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and bananas. Mix well. Stir in flour, salt, soda and nuts until blended thoroughly. Bake 1 hour in 9 x 5 inch pan, greased and floured at 350 degrees. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes, then invert on wire rack to cool. Can also be baked in 3 mini-loaf pans for 20-25 minutes.

Thank you so much!!! I can't seem to find my grandfather's recipe and then I found this and it is so it!! My Grampa used to have me wisk the eggs and sift the flour salt and baking soda before adding them. In case anyone wants to give it a try. Thanks again :)
