WORLD'S BEST BANANA BREAD | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 2 eggs 1 1/4 c. mashed bananas 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and bananas. Mix well. Stir in flour, salt, soda and nuts until blended thoroughly. Bake 1 hour in 9 x 5 inch pan, greased and floured at 350 degrees. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes, then invert on wire rack to cool. Can also be baked in 3 mini-loaf pans for 20-25 minutes. |
