1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. apple sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. raisins and nuts

Mix all ingredients together well.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
