BUTTER CRUST APPLE PIE 
1 med. can sliced apples
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour

Place in baking tin 1 can apples. Sprinkle sugar over apples. Dot with butter. Sprinkle apples with nutmeg and salt. In a separate bowl, mix well 1/4 cup butter and brown sugar. Add to this 1 cup flour. Sprinkle this mixture over apples (top crust) and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot or cold with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
