2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
5 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Cream butter, slowly add sugar, well beaten eggs and milk.

2. Sift flour, salt and soda. Add vanilla, add to first mixture.

3. Drop by spoon on greased pan and bake in moderate oven.
