HOT DOG SOUP 
1/2 c. washed lentils
4 c. water
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. potato, peeled & grated
2 carrots, pared & sliced
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 hot dogs, sliced
1/2 c. broken spaghetti

Simmer lentils in water in covered pan for 30 minutes. Add onion, potato, carrots, celery, seasonings and tomato sauce. Simmer covered for 30 minutes more. Then add hot dogs, spaghetti and 1 more cup water, if desired. Simmer 20 minutes.
