VEG-CHEESE SOUP 
2 stalks celery
1 c. cauliflower
2 carrots
1/2 c. broccoli
1 med. onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. flour
3 c. chicken broth
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
2 c. sharp cheese
1/4 c. toasted almonds

Finely chopped

Saute first 6 ingredients in butter until crisp. Add flour to this, cook 1 minute. Slowly add chicken broth. Cook slowly until mixture bubbles. Cover and simmer 10 minutes until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce and next three ingredients: pepper, milk and cheese. Cook over low heat 10 minutes. Very good with 2 cups chicken, cut up, added.
