MARINATED VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 c. bell pepper, diced
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. green onion, chopped
1 can white shoepeg corn, drained
1 can French cut green beans, drained
1 can English peas, drained
1 sm. jar chopped pimentos, drained

Mix above ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. In a saucepan bring the following ingredients to a boil:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt

Pour hot sauce/vinegar mixture over vegetables. Mix well and refrigerate. Tastes better the longer it sits.
