2 sticks real butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream together butter and sugar; add slightly beaten egg yolks and flavorings; stir until blended. Mix together last 3 ingredients and gradually stir into other mixture. Form into balls, place on cookie sheet and press criss-cross with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. THESE WILL MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!
