1 c. water
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. white syrup
1 pkg. Knox gelatin
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. strawberry Jello
2 pts. strawberries
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk

Stir and oil until clear the first 6 ingredients. Add strawberry Jello and a couple of drops of red food coloring. Cool slightly and add strawberries. Combine all of the remaining ingredients, mixing with fork. Pat out with fingers in pie dish. Prick and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool and add pie filling.
