PEACHES AND CREAM KUCHEN 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
8-9 peach halves
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg yolks
1 c. heavy cream

Heat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl combine flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and baking powder with a pastry blender. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Turn mixture into an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Pat the mixture firmly against the bottom and sides of the pan to within 1/4 inch of the top. Arrange the peaches on top, cut side down. Combine the remaining sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle over the peaches. Bake this for 15 minutes in the 400 degree oven.

While this is baking, beat the egg yolks with the cream; and pour over the peaches. Bake this at 400 degrees for 30 minutes longer until golden brown. Allow this all to stand for approximately 15 minutes. Serve warm.
