BARBECUE SAUCE 
12 lg. ripe tomatoes
3 med. onions
2 red or green peppers (may be omitted)
2 tbsp. pickling spices (put in bag)
1 1/2 c. vinegar (white preferred)
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. salt

1. Peel tomatoes and onions, quarter.

2. Put in blender with green peppers and part of vinegar.

3. Mix all other ingredients with the above mixture and cook until thick.

4. Use at once or can in pint jars - or put in pint plastic boxes for freezing.
