CHEESE - STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar

Prepare Dream Whip as directed on package. Whip and blend cream cheese and powdered sugar together. Fold the two mixtures together and spread the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan lined with vanilla wafer crust or graham cracker crust.

For the graham cracker crust I use 2 cups graham cracker cookies, crushed with 3 tablespoons sugar and 1/3 cup butter and patted into the bottom of the pan. For this recipe we prefer the crust not baked.

Vanilla wafer crumbs can be used - 1 1/2 cups crumbs with 1/2 cup butter.

Let cool for at least 2 hours. This allowed cream cheese mixture to set up.

STRAWBERRY FILLING:

1 pkg. strawberry jello
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water

Cook mixture over medium heat until thick and clear; cool. Prepare at least a pint of strawberries and slice. When cooled, mix with strawberries and pour and spread over cheese mixture. (This is better if allowed to set overnight.) But can be used within 2 hours.

To make recipe for larger pans I have doubled, and tripled recipe according to amount desired.
