CHERRY NUT CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese block
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour, I use Soft-As-Silk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped cherries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 c. raisins

Thoroughly blend butter, softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add 2 cups flour sifted with baking powder.

Combine 1/4 cup flour with fruit and nuts; fold into batter. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool and remove from pan.
