BAVARIAN PINEAPPLE SALAD 
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) Dole sliced pineapple in juice
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1 c. milk
3/4 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. rum flavoring (optional)
Lettuce
2 apples, sliced
1 pear, sliced

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice. Soften gelatin in juice; stir over low heat until dissolved. Gradually add milk to Miracle Whip salad dressing mixture until blended. Gradually add gelatin to Miracle Whip mixture. Chill until almost set. Fold in whipped cream, sugar and flavoring until blended. Chill until firm. Unmold; surround with lettuce. Arrange apples, pears and pineapple around mold. Garnish with apple slices and walnut half if desired. 8-10 servings.
