BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. buttermilk
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
Pinch of salt
3-4 overripe bananas, mashed up
1 c. nut pieces

Grease 1 loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add other ingredients and stir well. Cook slowly at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until done.

I have baked many Banana Nut Breads but I have to say this is one of the BEST I have ever tried. I added 4 extremely ripe bananas and 2 cups nuts (we like extra nuts) and it was the perfect addition. My husband said he never wanted me to ever use another recipe but this one. 10 stars for this recipe.
