SEA FOAM 
3 c light brown sugar
1 c water or 3/4 c water and 1/4 c light corn syrup
1 T vinegar
2 egg whites
1/8 t salt
1 t vanilla
1 c nut meats

Beat egg whites and salt together until stiff. Cook sugar, water or water & syrup mixture along with vinegar over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Then cook quickly until hard ball stage, 238°F. Pour syrup mixture over eggs in a thin stream. Beat constantly until thick and creamy. Add vanilla and nuts.

Pour into a buttered 9 X 9 pan and let set until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
