TEXAS BROWNIES 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Mix together, bring to a boil or until butter melts. Stir in 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Add 2 eggs, beat until smooth. Pour into 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Mix together in pan. Heat until butter melts. Pour over brownies. (Can use same pan for mixing brownies and icing.)
