TEXAS BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (oleo)
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. strong coffee
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts

Bring to boil butter, shortening, coffee and cocoa. Add to dry ingredients, then add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and nuts; mix well. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Ovens vary. While still warm frost with 1 stick butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 1/4 cup milk, 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Delicious.
