CRISP OVEN FRY CHICKEN | |
1 1/2 c. potato flakes 1 tsp. season salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 tbsp. water 1 egg 3 lb. chicken, washed & patted dry Heat oven to 400 degrees. In large bowl combine flakes and seasonings. Stir in melted butter. In medium bowl beat water and egg well. Dip chicken in egg mixture. Coat with flake mixture. Place chicken skin side up in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 1 hour, uncovered (or until tender). |
