MARINATED COLESLAW | |
1 medium head of cabbage (shredded) 1 red onion 1 bell pepper 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tsp. salt (optional) 1 c. vinegar 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1 tbsp. dry mustard Shred cabbage, slice red onion, slice bell pepper. Layer cabbage, onion, and bell pepper. Sprinkle top with sugar. Spread celery seed over sugar. Combine vinegar, vegetable oil, and dry mustard. Bring to a boil and pour over cabbage, onion, and bell pepper. Refrigerate overnight. |
