24 HOUR MARINATED SLAW | |
1 cabbage 3/4 c. oil 1 tsp. celery seed 1 c. vinegar 2 onions 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. dry mustard 2 tbsp. sugar Spread cabbage and thinly sliced onions in flat pan; sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over all. Combine all other ingredients for the dressing and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage. Store in covered container (airtight) in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Keeps a month. |
