LOW SODIUM BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease two 8 x 8 x 2 inch pans. Melt butter. Add sugar to well beaten eggs, then add melted butter. Sift flour and measure and add cocoa, and sift again. Add vanilla and nuts and mix well. Spread batter into greased pans. Bake 20-30 minutes or until the surface of the brownies is the color of milk chocolate. The surface will crack when touched. Cool, in the pan, then cut the brownies in each pan into 16 sections. Makes 32 brownies.
